As the founder of Policy With A Punch, she brings years of personal experience in political journaling, along with a commitment to fostering meaningful, youth-led political discourse. Mia is an active member of her school’s speech and debate team, academic decathlon, competes in track and field, goes to art school, and aspires to become a lawyer. Hello everyone, my name is Maegen! I’m 16 years old and I am thrilled to be a part of policywithapunch. I’m deeply passionate about medicine and I hope to combine that interest with politics as a writer. Outside of school I’m a big reader who also loves to draw and do crafts, as well as read comics and do puzzles. I’m very excited about this opportunity, and I can’t wait to grow as a writer and help people become more aware about how politics shape our lives and country!

I’m 17 years old and from South Central Los Angeles. As I get ready to start my senior year in high school, I’m focused on building a future in journalism and education. I’m passionate about using my voice to share stories that matter.

An aspiring astrophysicist, Austin is a motivated writer with a passion for accurate research in fields of astronomy and sciences. A recent addition to his school’s selective Robotics team, Austin consistently demonstrates hands-on, dedicated cooperation on all work he is associated with.
